Since reestablishing our chapter at the George Washington University in 2013, we have worked each day to uphold our motto: "Let us strive for that which is honorable, beautiful, and highest." Our sisterhood is full of strong sisters from all over the globe and from coast to coast. Kappa Delta does not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, sexuality, disability or national origin. We welcome women of every color and creed to be a part of our organization provided they meet our high standards in the areas of character, academics and leadership potential. Apart from being sorority women, Kappa Deltas can be found in a myriad of other student organizations including Colonial Cabinet, STAR Program, GW Women in Business, Student Association, Relay for Life, Dance Marathon Residence, Hall Association, Camp Kesem, Lemonade Day DC, the Student Association and many more.
The Kappa Deltas at GW are proud of our accomplishments this past year and are excited for the year ahead. We extended bids to a new Pledge Class this winter and will initiate them in the coming weeks. Our 2019 Shamrock philanthropy week was a major success, and we were thrilled to be able to donate over $10,000 to Prevent Child Abuse America and our local beneficiary, Safe Shores.
Kappa Delta loves being a part of the GW Greek community. We can't wait for the upcoming year and look forward to continuing our legacy on campus!
